Art is a compulsive behaviour.

Artist's Biography

Rudraraj describes his art as arising from “a compulsive state to communicate through non-objective iconography—abstract pictographs and textures—enjoying spontaneous behaviour like a child.” For him, it is not about being understood, but about rediscovering the innocence of expression, where a dialogue is unbound, instinctive, and free. “Just a visual play,” he calls it—yet within this play lies a profound truth: the act of creating not to explain or preach, but simply to be.

A graduate in Visual Design from NID Ahmedabad (2014), Rudraraj is also the founder of Rudranaad Foundation, a spiritual and charitable organization deeply rooted in India’s sacred traditions. As a teacher of Tantrism and the esoteric paths of yoga, his artistic expression reflects a mystical quest—a continuum between creation, contemplation, and transcendence. Rudraraj’s recent works explore non-objective interaction with abstract pictographs and glyphs, crafting a stunning visual experience through an intriguing amalgamation of media. Rediscovering the innocence of communication—like a child compelled to speak without the burden of meaning—his creations transcend conventional abstraction, becoming a spiritual gesture, a tactile meditation.
